Olham Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) This aerial photgraph, taken at low altitude and from a flat angle view, shows very well, how trenches lay embedded in the Flanders landscape. The name "Madcap Farm" struck me - it fits so well... This one is Wytschaete - before and after. The right pic was taken on 3 June 1915, the left one on 12 June 1917. As if to show: bombardements and shellings were sucessfull - mission accomplished... Edited March 6, 2011 by Olham Quote
