an LG 19" monitor with native max rez 1280-1024

Intel E-8500 3.16 GhZ dual core

4 Gb Ram DDR2

Nvidia gtx-285

win-7 64 bit

win-XP 32 bit

 

No problems with FC-2 at all (maxed out) expecially in win 7

will I max this game out too or not in my rig?

You should be able to run it just fine. Before I upgraded to an i970 I had an e8500 and it ran fine.

I series requires a completely new machine for me,I'm interested in buying a gtx-580 but i don't know if it is a great step forward coupled with this processor and at 1280-1024 i think I'll risk a great bottleneck!

A 580 is a lot more powerful, I just don't know if you'll need THAT much, especially if you're still just running 12x10 res. A 570 would probably do you just fine. It will also need less from your PSU. Check its rating because nvidia recommends certain wattages for certain cards.
