Help Again!

Hi Guys, I seem to be in trouble more often than not. This time I installed the Classified secret mission and screwed up the game. So I thought I would delete the whole mod folder and that would be that, but now no matter what I do I always end up in the air with default settings, don't matter what I set them to it goes the same way.

Okay, you need to slow down and start again. You should have not screwed anything up...this mod was meant to be self contained to avoid any conflicts.

 

Did you read the entire readme, slowly and carefully and COMPLETELY?

No I fully accept pilot error on the install but at this stage I have gone full circle and installed everything again from scratch but still no response from the settings. This could not be because of the mission download, It's long gone now.

Make sure the Options.ini file in your mod directory is not set to 'Read-Only' in the Properties panel.

Nope all regular there, have tried 4 times renaming the thirdwire folder to force a new one created, just in case, also rebooted. Perplexed.

What operating system and what SF2 sims do you have?

Vista 64 3ghz quad 4gb ram all sf versions. was working fine until today.

Just done another install and it is working again, should have worked after first install but hey

Okay. Next time, follow the installation instructions for the Classified Mission Mod precisely. The mod CANNOT screw up your install if you follow the instructions...it has been ops tested several dozen times and was written to be 'new guy' friendly.
