Hopefully this is clear enough to be understandable.

 

Is there a way to extend the time of a specific view?

 

When i press the player to weapon or weapon to player view the view reverts back to quickly when the weapon explodes, giving no time to actually view the explosion.

 

OR

 

Is there a way to speedup the POV (external view) rotation? Thnking that if the view timing cannot be changed, maybe by speeding up the rotation of POV, explosions can be viewed.

 

And, failing that, Is there a full screen rear view that can be made available (not the mirrors)??

A bug? In the default.ini, this command:

 

REJECT_RADAR_TARGET=CTRL+DELETE

 

actually removes my cockpit but leaves the gunsight... Anyone else have this?

del key removes all but radar and gunsight (hud view)

 

also a quick fix is using the pause key to hold after you make a hit

Quick fix is right.

Problem with using the pause key is that it pauses, better than nothing tho.

Using the weapons view, the switch back is just to fast for the pause key i think, would be better if the view would linger there a couple seconds after the explosion.

 

I managed to extend the life of the ground explosions somewhat by changing values in the particle file (explosions, fire and ground changes). In some cases i more than tripled the values so, once in a while, i'm fast enough to get a partical view but not a good view of them.

 

Maybe, the patch will fix these short-comings. Hope they dont wait for the international release tho.
