March 2012 key controls problem

Updated to march 2012 and control commands are somewhat different, but when I reassign "next air to air weapon", it accepts my new command, but then it doesn't work in game. In meantime i reinstalled the whole computer for other reasons, and installed the new fresh merged SF2X, patched it to sep. 2011. and it all worked fine. When patched to march 2012. problem happens again.

There's a Controls HotFix for the Mar '12 patch which cures this - http://www.thirdwire.net/files/dl/SF2_update_Mar2012_Hotfix.exe - and it's built-in to the Apr '12 patch if you're going to update.
