Coverting SF1 - Mission & Campaigns for SF2

Hi, i am sure this may have been asked before, but could someone please provide me with guidance or direction on how to convert SF1Vietnam Missions & Campaigns for use in SF2V. I have had a go at simply dropping a SF1 mission into my SF2V missions folder, which shows up fine on the map with the correct aircraft, but when i go to fly the plane there are no squadron markings or weapon ordnance attached to any aircraft taking part. Will i need to make changes manually in an 'ini' file somewhere.

 

Help would be much appreciated

What you are asking would take more work than just editing an ini file. It would be easier to simply recreate a single mission instead of converting it. The campaigns would be slightly easier, but you would still have to edit weapons and squadrons to make it work properly.
