Campaign building: a pair of questions

I have a question about campaign building. One squadron must entry in scene about so seven months after the start of the campaign with a new model of aircraft for his first sortie. That is a way to programe this type of event?

A second question:That exist an add-on, gunpod 23mm for the MiG-21FL, PF and PFM?
