Yeah, I've been rocking that since my system's RAM and video card started doing really odd things (like slurring video performance like it was playing in super slow-mo). Because my system is so old, I found it disabled a bunch of processes that were interfering with certain games and adversely affecting RAM performance. I think I was getting something like a 41% improvement in overall performance in games that with resource heavy usage. Even though ARMA II runs pretty poorly on my system, it runs noticeably smoother when boosted. I find some games don't benefit much from it, yet others (particularly shooters) gained a noticeable improvement. The Thirdwire flight sims scored a slight frame rate improvement for me, but Black Ops didn't, but that could be due to a number of factors (like the first Black Ops being pretty buggy). I think you'll gain more of a noticeable performance increase if you are running an older or lower end system, but it's definitely worth look in. I think Game Booster 3.5 is the current release. Sorry Mac users, no support for you. Man up and buy a PC if you want real gaming.

I got downloaded game booster after I think it was montycz who recommended it always found it seemed to work ok for me and the razer game booster is essentially the same but its claimed to be more enhanced and with added features ie:screencast etc and after all it

is a joint project between razer and iobit , I also notice it requires online registration. As far as optimizing your computer goes always found Tweakguides Tweaking companion to be real handy for me as I really don't know my A from my E anyway and for anybody with

win8 tweakguides has a tweaking companion coming out early Dec for windows8
