Dual air-air missile rails

Hello all, i was watching a documentary the other day about the harrier I and i noticed that the dual rails of aim-9 it used at the war of falklands are much narrower than those we have here..then as i kept searching (cause it made me really curious )i found those pictures

 

the first is of an F-18 C i think the 2nd is exactly what i saw in the documentary...you notice it is narrower don't you..or is it just me?

and now the question.. :) how can i modify the width of the launcher we currently have in the game ? or do i have to make a new one ? and if so just through 3D max can i make it? ..thank you for reading this

The 1st pic is a pair of AIM-120 AMRAAM not an Aim-9 Family A2A missle.

yea i know that is a pair of Amraams i just wanted to show how narrow the launcher is :)
