how I use stick on sf2 ?

Hello, I found in my room my old F-15E Hawk Tactical Control Stick and want to play with it.

Its work fine after I bought a USB game port adapter, but in game only the bottoms work. when I move the analog stick to the sides or up and down its dosent control the plane.

When you go into the Options menu of the sim, and click on the Control tab, does it show the sim as recognizing the controller? Also, in Windows Control Panel, does Windows recognize the stick? If not, then you might need to find new drivers for the controller.
