My new Saitek Gamers Keyboard!

I just received in the mail my new Saitek Gamers keyboard for winning the logo contest from CombatAce.com. Thanks Fellas for a fantastic prize and speedy delivery. This is easily the best keyboard I have ever seen. The blue backlighting is simply stunning.

 

I have a few questions to anyone who has one. What is the command pad used for? Any other features that are not readily apparrent?

I've set my Command Pad up for several tactical shooters, and I'm sure it would work with flight sims as well. I've bound keys on the pad to commands in game. This can be done with the Saitek software.
