Problem in campaign mission

I’ve just flown a couple of campaign missions and the number of pilots listed before you go to the briefing room didn’t add up with the number of pilots in my flight. I think it was 7 and 6 pilots listed, but both times there were only 3 planes in the flight. I’ve never noticed that before.

When you come out of the briefing room with the assigned mission it will list the actual pilots assign to the flight.  The before the briefing room screen shows the pilots that are available.
