  1. I mean, if I can port it to blender, it’ll do. I don’t have 3dMax2009 unfortunately so that’s a bit of a roadblock for me there.
  2. So, I was thinking, does anyone happen to have any like 3D aircraft lying around? I was considering experimenting with trying to add a new aircraft but to call me a modeler would be… inaccurate at best. And was wondering if anyone had some 3D files just hanging around that I could utilize for mad scientist-type experiments (and, of course also for anyone else who may need them)
  3. 04/12/‘15 - An anonymous Dhimari UH-1 Huey Mechanic stationed at RAF Canopic snaps a grainy photo of an unknown aircraft. A day later, the picture showed up on a now defunct Internet forum dedicated to Dhimar’s Air Force. The image was accompanied with a caption that translated to “As the tensions with Paran get worse, the Americans have brought something strange with them” About four days later, the account that made the original post was completely wiped from the internet, and all traces of the unidentified aircraft on the surface web were erased in the following few days. It is unknown what happened to the anonymous mechanic, and internet investigations headed by various groups of so-called “lost media enthusiasts” turned up nothing related to the incident. It is rumored the picture can still be found on various spots on the Dark Web, but even then there is no proof to that claim. (F/A-37A Talon landing at RAF Canopic with some filters and a cool little backstory, enjoy )
  4. 1988 - F-4E Phamtom II ‘DH770’ converted into RF-4Dh (Dhimari subvariant of RF-4X) under project ‘Peace Sol’. In part to give Dhimar their own strategic reconnaissance capability instead of the Shah solely relying on the Israeli RF-4X detachment stationed in RAF Canopic.
  5. Sweet, looks like it’s time for the Phantom to fly high (and fast at that)! also I just think the F-4X/RF-4X is a pretty bird. But that might just be me liking the Phantom no matter what they slap onto it (which, to be fair, I do quite like the Phantom, it has a charm to it)
  6. Fair enough yeah, I can definitely see it. Also, hope Spinners is doing alright.
  7. Sorry I’m out of the loop, did Spinners retire?
  8. Love the placeholder name btw lol, also thanks will try that when I get the chance
  9. And, while I’m on the topic of (at least seemingly) unreleased what-ifs, might as well ask about this Tigershark too (I quite like the Tigershark, amazing bird, wish the ANG got her, huge shame that money talked a little louder in the end) Is this an F/A-20? F-20C? F-20A Block __? (Any of those would be awesome) Either way looks great with AMRAAMs and that refueling probe (I will add, though, should give it double AMRAAM racks, there was a concept floating around for the real Shark to wield dual ARH pylons, it just happened the Tigershark got cancelled before she could ever mount them beyond just a mock-up) Anyways, gonna show the rest of my informal backlog of screenshots to post here (there’s a few other jets I’d like to ask about but I can wait, and would rather not go on a weird scavenger hunt through this entire forum to bug people at 10pm my time, lol ) Ok so, take a look at this flock of birds! 1. Parani Mirage III with SEPR going… well, up, very quickly in fact. (Essentially the Mirage III SEPR mod hybridized with the Parani Mirage III by way of “slapping a skin on because they use the same model”) 2. Fastcargo’s F-111G with some decal swaps about to perform a night strike raid for the Dhimari Shah. And, she has a few Popeyes (alas, not the spinach-eating kind of Popeye.) 3. Dhimari Catfish twins in a sandstorm, I’m sure they’re swallowing dust and the maintenance crew will certainly maim the pilots, but those Parani SAMs sure won’t think to look inside the massive sandstorm… 4. Dhimari Demon being well… demonic I suppose. I just thought the lens flare looked nice honestly and the Demon is a surprisingly “beautiful-ugly” jet (sure, it might LOOK like a pregnant seahorse but there’s a certain beauty to its weirdo design if I’m being honest.)
  10. Hey, forgive me for asking, but do you ever plan on releasing this thing? Looks like a pretty nice 5th-6th Gen. Could see it as FCAS or even an NGAD-style of thing (Dhimari NGAD anyone?) And, to be compliant with this thread, take a look at Paran’s new Super Flanker-H. This bird’s got 20 Chinese BVR missiles, although it doesn’t really weigh her down. The Dhimaris do not seem to appreciate it, however. *Created from a few other mods, anything I post here is usually nice screenshots along with some personal edits of other mods on this site, unless I do say otherwise and that I did make the plane, which I will… eventually...
  11. Honestly, speaking of BMPs I’m glad I asked because now I realized GIMP will sometimes automatically export in a specific version of BMP that SF2 does not support (because, of course it would), that solves a lot when it comes to skins being janky and is something I’ll 100% keep in mind in the future. (and, speaking of skins, I was thinking of getting some WW2 Aircraft into Paran’s Arsenal, just been scouring the site for templates and coming up with camo patterns first.)
  12. Actually wait, completely unrelated and more of a very simple yes/no question but, does anyone you know of happen to have an XF5U model? It’d be a pretty cool what-if for the 40s-60s era I’d imagine it seeing service in the last few days of the Pacific during WW2 as its base heavy fighter variant (yes I know it actually flew in 1946 but it’s cooler to imagine it in WW2), then as a night fighter and carrier AEW in Korea, and then finally as an electronic warfare and AEW bird over Vietnam (before they’d either be put into museums… or sold to Dhimar…) Honestly I could see it being pretty cool for Dhimar, it and the “F-79” (that USAF Ho 229 in the SF1 section) as like imports of the Late 40s in part to counter Parani Strategic Bombers (which I can picture being German in origin, like Greifs and modified 111s, for some reason) and some of their more advanced Soviet birds or something.
  13. Ah, fair enough, thank you for responding still.
  14. You have a point, thank you by the way. I will say it's nice being on a more friendly and approachable forum.
  15. The Beriev 25000 Neptun? I think that was the name? Gonna be honest I completely forgot that was a thing on this site, does it actually work??? Or are you referring to something else. Also I know there’s working tiltrotors but I probably haven’t played around with proper helos enough (but I know the ones I have tried somewhat work. Have yet to really properly mess around with Yakarov’s helos though, so will definitely do that soon)
