I found a similar photo on this site for a F105 Thunderchief Drop Tank fins, however, I've been told it could be something related to windmills. No one's seen one and the speculation is taunting. There's serial numbers (aluminum stamps?) On all pieces. Any information pertaining to possibilities would be amazing! Thanks! It will only let me upload 1 photo, unsure how to decrease the size before upload.

I believe so, looks identical except the green attachment piece that seems to be installed on this. Has anyone seen blueprints for the tank? I've had no luck, however, there looks to be a sleek cover that would explain the extra machined holes. Mine also has 4 holes instead of the pictured 6. The serial numbers showed different aluminum types. They match on the green and fins. Thanks yall! This has me so intrigued! -
F-105 , 450 gallon drop tank

Hoping this thread is still running.. i was searching images of an aluminum object and it brought me to the original post of an F 105 drop/fuel tank. The rear looked identical on the fans. Could anyone enlighten me on these photos?
