I understand how my posts came across, and that wasn't my intention. I appreciate that everyone here contributes voluntarily, and I'm grateful for the time people spend helping others. I was only trying to make it easier for people to find someone familiar with a specific area of SF1 modding, not to demand help from anyone. i posted a peaceful topic and you bring the old arguments

I wasn't trying to separate SF1 and SF2 modders based on skill. My point was simply that the SF1 community is much smaller and much less active, so it's harder to find someone familiar with specific SF1 issues. If my wording came across the wrong way, that wasn't my intention.

Hello everyone, I created this thread because Strike Fighters 1 and its modding community are much smaller than Strike Fighters 2. As a result, there are far fewer experienced modders and people who know the game's files inside and out. If you run into a problem, it's often difficult to find someone who can help. I'd really appreciate it if anyone with extensive knowledge of a specific part of the game—such as aircraft, effects, weapons, avionics, terrains, or any other aspect—could reply here and mention what they're most familiar with. That way, people who need help will know who to ask, and it may make solving problems much easier for everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I keep coming back to this thread whenever I run into the same issue, hoping that someone who knows more than I do has found a solution. That's why it's frustrating to come back and find notifications or replies that don't actually move the discussion forward. I wasn't trying to tell anyone what they can or can't post—I just meant that off-topic replies make it harder for people looking for a real solution.

Hello guys if you can help i would be thankful to help me cuz the community of strike fighters 1 and wings over europe is not like strike fighters 2 Anyway . I downloaded operation desert storm and played with f16 but it had one thing that was annoying , the legs . i know it makes it realistic but with them i cant see radar clearly . I tried deleting LEGS.BMP but it didnt work can anyone help and i will send the files you want like data ini , thanks for giving your time .

The default aircraft . models are low quality, except for the cockpit textures.

Hello guys, My PC is about 14 years old and it can run Wings Over Europe, but I have one major problem: very low FPS. The FPS drops heavily whenever several aircraft turn on their afterburners. I've been playing the game for years and this issue still bothers me. I would like to know if there is an afterburner configuration file (such as an afterburner .ini file) that controls the effect. If so, where can I find it? I'm trying to reduce or disable the lighting effect from the afterburners outside and inside cockpit while keeping the flame visible, because It is causing the FPS drop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
