Trouble with reversed throttle

Thanks I will try that, I missed it when I was look at the file -
I have built a cockpit and having trouble with the throttle. I used a BU0836 JS controller board. I have the throttle connected to the X axis pot pins. The throttle works backwards. I was having trouble with the joystick being reversed, but I was able to edit the default config file to correct that. My problem is that I can not edit the config fro the throttle, to reverse the valves. If I put a - (neg.) Starting the game, it changes the assignment in the config file to just - valve. which is the game default valve. Any ideas as to a fix? Thanks
