I just had a great flight using the new F-101 B Voodoo with CAF 425th sqnd. Allouette markings, I took off from CFB Comox in the morning with a low cloud cover and medium percipatation, tower cleared me and I was off. Using radar the intercept mission began, set a course and go full tilt to target. I was able to intercept the Tu-95 Bear just off the coast of Vancouver BC, it was in and out of cloud cover at 13000 ft. made a few turns then climbed and maintain a 32000 ft. alt. I pulled up along side and intercept became escort, flying side by each, After 25 minutes of formation flying and escorting the big Tu-95 bear out and over the ocean it seemed now that he was heading in the right direction (away from the Canadian west coast) I broke patrern and proceded to radio Vancouver intl. and requested full stop landing. I took all these great screens along the way but...That was a pretty cool mission, pretty good flight, I own a few combat sim as well as MFS2000, 2002 & 2004, who needs combat flight sims... P.S. I can not get into the LOD using the note pad, and when I try the Hex editor it display's up to 4 different LOD files for each cockpit type. when I do the search it always says "String not found" any Ideas? thx

I do not have the cockpit ini. file, where do I find it? will I have to extract it using the sp1 extract utility? Thank you for the detailed information in regards to the mirrors. if i an get this started i would like to put a package out containing the un-mirrored cockpit's and offer it as a d-load for the others.

In the mig-17 which uses the f-104 green cockpit at marcfighters, the mirrors are removed, can this be done with ALL the cockpits? i don't use the mirrors in flight so I thought it would be beneficial to get rid of those big grey plates that are stuck to the canopy when mirrors are set OFF...

What if any kind of missions did the Canadians get invovled in?........ Did we fly along side the US in Korea? There are alot of nice CAF skins just wondering if a historically accurate mission(s) could be made? :shock:

Worked those settings out and still have the same problem :shock: I'm still flying it just is'nt the same without the engines running, I hear all out side noises but not my own engine??? maybe I need to find out what the sound file is called? maybe I need someone to send that sound file? i need to figure this out or i will be grounded till the crew fits my rig proper!! :D

Yes that used to work but does'nt seem to be the way now, it makes me think I should go look at my control setting's in game maybe if I fool around in there it may solve it, who knows? anybody?

Hi guys, just re-installed SP! and now when i pan forward the engine SOUND cuts out, I can here everything but my engine. any ideas? has this been discussed before or happening to anybody else? Thx for any help. 8)

Hi Nosecone :D I had made a couple of skins and also modified a few skins for WWIIf back in the early days. But now I can not even come close to what these guys are doin :shock: Janes WWIIfighters is a great game with AWESOME new MODELS, FM's, TERRAIN, MISSIONS &the best Group of guys on the web. you IL2 er's know Hammerd.
