I downloaded the Harrier Campaign mod and I love it. It is very well done. There are a few minor glitches like planes landing short on one kind of airbase(one where hangars and tarmac are on each end of the runway) and missions starting on very small bases. (shown below.) My question is how do you still do missions over and around these bases but not land or originate from them? Image fixed by admin

Marcelo recently released the Chinese Su-27 (J-11). I got to wondering, "Did Marcelo got over his computer problems?" If he did, "I feel the need... the need for speed!!!"

Thanks for the info. Wings over Israel. Hmmm... sounds fun. I realized that there were so many countries that started with the letter "I". I didn't want to single one out like Iran, India, or Israel. I figured Iraq because of whats going on today. Israel sounds cool though. Marcelo, good luck and enjoy those beautiful brazilian women.

I have heard alot of things about Marcelo having problems with his computer, and a bunch of other stuff. I got to thinking, and I know that can be dangerous, what if Marcelo is just waiting for the New Year or Christmas or what ever major holiday to release his aircraft (Su-30's, Su-25,etc.)? Maybe he is waiting so he can get the planes perfected and then release them on a major holiday when everybody is online.

I downloaded the original game to another computer. Then I downloaded the SFp1 extracter utility and I extracted the original LOD files for the MiG-21F. Now the aircraft works like a charm. Only thing wrong was the weapon placement, yet that was easy to fix. Thank you all for the advice and your time.

I was wondering why the MiG-21F that Thirdwire uses for AI has skin problems. For example, I downloaded the Iraqi F-7B off of Major Lee's website, and it worked great BEFORE I put any patches on. Afterwards, the weapon positions, decals, and the skins were all screwed. I was wondering how to solve this problem. I fixed the weapons and the decals, yet the skin itself is what makes the plane look really good. Otherwise, you get a mix of the skin, black,and white/grey background.

What is new about this F-14? This aircraft has the ability to carry Hawk SAMs as Air to Air weapons. It also has new Loading/Hangar Screens and new afterburner effects. (They came from the F-16XL.) If you have tried to add a new afterburner effect(s) to the Tomcat, they usually became bigger than the nozzle in Zone 5. I have fixed that problem while modding in the engine settings. All of the documentation on how to add Hawks to the aircraft are included. If ya'll don't want a new aircraft, I can release just the effects for the afterburner and the new Loading/Hangar screens. I am catching too much flak on trying to release this as an aircraft. img00009.bmp

I have developed a new F-14A for the Iranian Air Force. This aircraft features new afterburner effects, new weaponry, and new Hangar/Loading Screens. If you wish to vote, please do so. My second point is, if this plane wants to be released, whoever created the Tomcat, I need your permission to release this re-worked model. I said in my readme that I had nothing to do in the creation of the flight model, skin, or anything else. I also said that "My claim to fame is modding this aircraft. You see your work, it's yours." Please resond quickly. If so, I can release it TODAY!!!
