About BIRD

  1. File Name: Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS File Submitter: BIRD File Submitted: 25 Oct 2006 File Category: LOMAC Joystick config files You'll need Thrustmaster Cougar Throttle and Stick to use these files. '.tmj' and '.tmm' files need to be opened with the application 'Foxy HOTAS Cougar Edition' that comes with Thrustmaster joystick and downloaded into the joystick. Although jostick key mappings are developed to suit Soviet figther planes, they would work well with any fighter, like F-15. With smaller corrections they can be adapted for mud movers like A-10 and Su-25. Philosophy behind the assignment of the keys was that only keys that one would need in a hurry are mapped. Other less urgently required keys are left for selection via keyboard. Keys mapped to the throttle are mostly to do with mechanical systems and radar/TDS screen. Keys mapped onto joystick are to do with attacking, defending the aircraft and views management. These files were developed from original files crated by "Jagstang". happy flying, Dejan, aka.
