I'm looking for a way to just take off with whatever aircraft I want, test out its flying characteristics, shoot some simple ground targets, and land. So far the only way to do this is to create a quick mission, let the autopilot land, and then take off and do what I want (after taxing around until I'm lined up to take off). There really should be a simpler way of doing this, yes?

Is there a place where I can download a Vietnam campaign for Strike Fighters? In the downloads section here I've only found mods that make the commies playable, doesn't do me much good if I don't have the campaign to begin with.

I'm about to get IL-2 1946, and while online I saw two expansions for sale--"Campaigns over Jungles" and "Campaigns over Waves" for Pacific fighters. Can anyone tell me if these are worth the money? Also, what it DGen?

I basically have 2 questions about this. I'm flying the Korea War mod, and I'm having trouble hitting ground targets with bombs. Seriously, I suck at this, even when dive bombing my bombs straddle the target, nothing hits. Are there any tips on how to drop a bomb that will hit something more important than the sidewalk next to the target? Also, in the Strike Fighters Manual, it says that when the gunsight is in Air-Ground mode, it can be "manually depressible to 245 mil below the fuselage line," but I haven't been able to figure out how. Is this helpful at all, and if so how do I do it?

I've been eying this series of games for a while, but haven't had the money to actually buy. Now that I do, I'm just wondering which one should I get? I'm very interested in the downloadable mods, new planes and especially campaigns (Korea, the Arab-Israeli wars, etc.). Can all the mods available on this site be installed into any of the three games (SF, WoV, WoE)? If so, which is the best to get to mod around with (I think I just invented that phrase)? If not, which game can be modded the most?

What is DGen? In the mission/scenario download section I've seen a few pacific campaigns for "DGen" and an updates for DGen, but I have no idea what it is. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just couldn't find the answer on my own.
