As many of you know at one point in time VMFA-531 RAN BY 531_Ghost/531_GATOR was active in WOV. Well now we are back and looking for pilots to fly with us. We welcome anyone to fly with us whta ever their level may be. We will be standing up a Pacific Fighters Squadron. VMF(N) 531 Grey Ghosts. We will be flying the F4U-A Corsair. Although not historically accurate, we're looking to have some fun with it. The actual squadron were established on November 16, 1942 and flew North American SNJ-4 Texans and SB2A-4 Brewster Buccaneers later augmented with Lockheed Ventura PV-ls. We'd like to take this opportunity to ask any and all non assigned Aviators, or assigned, looking for some fun if interested, join us in the Hyper Lobby for some good clean fun. We've been flying over the years, Jane's F/A 18, Wings Over Vietnam, even a couple missions in Falcon 4.0. Thought we'd get our hands dirty with this now. I can see if i can fly there lol............ sounds good would love to make it there but being on the east coast it kinda a long drive
