Hi Peter01, I don't mind at all. I really appreciate all the information and time. I made a second copy this weekend but didn't have time to do much with it. I actually flew a mission in the stock game to play around. I am going to give your suggestions a try. I have a few more questions if that is okay: 1. Besides putting the FM in the Objects/Aircraft folder is there anything else I need to do ? 2. In the stock game I find the landings a little to easy even on hard - do your FM files make landings different as well? 3. Last I have an old CH Flightstick - analog - it's 10 years old but brand new and I have it hooked up with a nice new analog USB adapter. Using it in the stock game seems good - I was just wondering if you see any probelms with that since you mentioned possibly adjusting the joystick sensitivity ? Thanks again - I appreciate all your help. -jg1234

Hi Folks, I need to uninstall OFF Phase 2 from my machine. I just bought another one and need to free the space on the old one ( It was a 20GB drive ) so I can give it to my brother. Can anyone advise me on how to do that cleanly? Thanks in advance. -jg1234

Hi, I purchased and loaded FE Gold ( patched to Nov 2008 ) on my machine ( PIIII 3.4, 2GB Ram, Nvidia 7600GS 256 MB Video ). I am not as overwhelmed thanks largely to this community. I found this post very useful. I have one question. I have the stock game, some terrain files, a sound pack and and an effects back. I just want to add the Nieuport 28 add on plane. Do I also need to install the Flight Models also? I am playing on easy settings mostly - so was assuming that the flight models may not make a big change but wasn't sure. Thanks - jg1234

That sounds good Sitting Duck. I saw a mention of the "mine" profile option in the FAQ area and was wondering if that would do the trick. It looks like it will. I really appreciate the help. Thanks again ! -jg1234

Thanks Sitting Duck for the quick response. I was thinking that because I don't have a hat switch on my joystick - I would only be able to use the snap views that are advertised on the CFS 3 quick reference card - below. I am probably missing something. It;s been a while for me. Numpad 4 look left Numpad 6 look right Numpad 8 look up Numpad 2 look down F3 Key toggle cockpit F4 Key cycle views Shift + F4 Keys cycle views backward ` Key toggle padlock view Tab Key next target Shift + Tab Keys previous target Shift + ` Keys cancel target Ctrl + Tab Keys next friend Ctrl + Shift + Tab Keys previous friend Ctrl + F4 Keys toggle chase view Tab Key next aircraft in chase view Shift + Tab Keys previous aircraft in chase view I am going to load up OFF Phase 2 this weekend and see. Thanks again

Hi Folks, I have an old CH Flightstick - two buttons, a throttle - no hat switch. I am going to upgrade when I get some cash. In the meantime I would like to enjoy OFF Phase 2. I had three questions: 1.) In regards to snap views - Am I limited to the ones in Combat Flight Simulator 3 or can I map some keys when I install OFF P2? 2.) I saw a keyboard control guide for phase 3 that had more snap view commands then the original CFS 3 - so I was wondering if that is available in OFF P2? 3.) How to you "reset" or "snap" the view back to forward? Sorry for all the questions. It's been a while since I have played flight sims. Thanks in advance - jg1234

Hi Folks, I suspect this board receives a lot of requests for upgrade suggestions. I hope I have posted in the correct place. Here are my specs: Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 - 2.5ghz, 800FSB, 2MB L2 cache 4 GB DDR2 Ram ATI x1650xt 256Mb GDDR3 On Board Sound Windows XP SP2 I would like to play OFF at a little above the Minimum Settings - perhaps like this: Overall Graphic Detail: 3 Aircraft:5 Effects:2 Terrain:3 Scenery:3 Clouds:1 Skins settings: low - medium My questions are : 1.) Am I okay with what I have? 2.) Should I spend 200.00 - 225.00 to upgrade my PSU from 350W to 450W and buy a 1GB Video Card? 3.) Or should I save and wait until I can drop 600.00 - 800.00 on a system with a faster chip - either duo or quad core and a 1Gb video card? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - jg1234

Pardon Me Peter01. I just found your flight models in the download section on Combat Ace. Awesome Stuff - Thanks :)

Peter01, Thanks for all this hard work. I know this is an old post but I was hoping if you are still around I might ask a question. I see where you have many good suggestions about the AI - but are there separate flight model mods that can be downloaded for First Eagles / Expansion Pack? Thanks in advance. -jg1234
