I was just screwing around and saw the QF-100D Drone as an aircraft in SFIsrael. I thought, what the hell so I picked it as a single mission plane .4 of us took off from an airbase and started down the road, on autopilot. I didn't have my stick or throttle hooked up since I just wanted to see where this was going. We ran into 4 Mirages, Israel marked and they attacked. We dodged every heat seeker but fell victim to their guns. I hooked up my flight stuff and tried again. I fired 4 sidewinders and downed 3 enemy planes. IN A FRIGGIN DRONE... I figured I would be announced as the greatest drone fighter ever, but it was not to be.

I replaced that file with the new one and the thing works like a million bucks. Pretty cool to just speak and your boys "just do it" Bless Gary Busey... And thanks Romflyer, you have made this game that much more interesting.

Well I tried it. Got all the way to loading the profile and now I keep getting an error message. Seems the profile won't load. I looked up the error message and I have to say, this appears to be way over my head. Oh well...

I have done a search but found no real answer. Is there a way to actually talk to wingman/flight in SF2 games? I thought I remembered such a thing was possible in SF1 with a program called "shoot" I think thats what it was.

Yes, I guess I will have to try both. I enjoyed "Wings Over Vietnam" so I am guessing SF2 Vietnam must be a big step forward. And I have always wanted to fly a Tomcat! Thanks for your replies...

I have SF2Israel and SF2Europe. But I feel the need for a carrier based game. I see Vietnam and North Atlantic both have carriers. Though it is a subjective subject, what would you think is the best for carrier action? Thanks...

Thank you all... And thank you Wrench, I knew someone would come and explain this so even a dork, such as myself, could understand. I can now see that they are indeed separate games which are sharing planes, terrains, ect. Thanks again...ya gotta love this website...

I just bought Strike Fighters 2 Europe. I already have SF2 Israel. Why would I want to merge them when I install Europe? Are they better as two separate programs or is there an advantage to merging them? Thanks...

Sorry for not replying sooner but I got out last time and now it won't let me log back in to Combatace. Or Column 5 for that matter. Spinners, you hit the nail on the head. I dropped the decals folder into the objects folder and everything works great now. Thank you very much!! I was trying to post a screenshot but the system wasn't having any of it. If someone there could check and see if there is something on that end that is stopping me from logging on it would be most helpful. I have to go to Kinko's to get back in. Thanks.

I just got into Windows 7, so I am still not sure how to take screenshots. When I figure that out I'll be back.

This is beyond me. Wrench, I'm not sure what this means, "did you place the appropriate folder into the Objects/Decals/ folder???" I have an objects folder and a decal folder, two separate folders. Is it possible to run it down like so? this folder goes in that folder which goes in here?

Anyone know what might be wrong? I add the plane and it shows up in the list of planes in single mission. When I choose it, it shows up with the correct skin and the Star of David but it does not show any numbers on tail or body. I check and everything seems to be there, just not showing up. Thanks...

I just started playing SF2-Israel and have been looking for some help with bombing from the older A-4. Is there some place they might keep that kind of information? Thanks much... I have searched, always try that first, but am coming up with little.

I am new to SF2-Israel and have just added the F15C to my planes. I was surprised to see a set of legs hanging from the bottom of the plane. The pilot is actually where he should be and that all seems to be working fine. I have checked the KB and done a search but could find nothing that seemed to help. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this little problem? Thanks...

Sorry SFP1Ace, looks like you may be correct regardless what the box says. Thanks for making that clear MigBuster, I guess I can stop trying with this thing and move on... You have been very helpful to those of us with head up rectum.

Well the box specs says DirectX version 9.0b or higher and that 9.0b is included on the disk. So it must be someother problem. But thanks for your reply.

Anyone know how to apply Sweetfx to Falcon 4 AF? I have tried several ways to get it to work, and nothing. I have searched everywhere but found nothing for AF. I know it works with BMS but I can't believe no one hasn't tried it with AF. Or maybe they have and no one could get it to work. Thanks...
