Mr. Lailik, I'm sorry that I did not get this until now. I would have loved to join you all at the reunion in June. You mentioned Lt Gen Stalder...Keith was one of my dad's best friends! I thought he was living back in Hawaii? I'm going to have to set some time aside to get involved with the group. I'm sure I'll do that before you see this message!

Apparently I'm just as delayed as you are, toonces. Thank you for the response. It is definitely cool that our dads flew together. I PMed you a while back. If you come across anything other than this picture that may relate to my dad or stories you may have heard, feel free to share. On a side note, I FINALLY started working on my pilot's license a few weeks ago. Getting married in July, probably have kids within a couple years. I figured I better do this now or I'll have to wait until I'm 50-60.

This message is for Toonces and 331Killerbee. Toonces, Our dad's flew together in VMFA-333. In fact, in the '76-'77 cruise book, our dads are in a photo together. My dad was Clayton "Nub" Stillings. 331Killerbee may remember him as well since my dad flew with both 235 and 333. Hopefully you guys are still active on this forum. I'd like to chat with both of you. My dad passed away in '95 from Cancer when I was 13. I guess because I feel like there are many unanswered questions (and a constant desire to remember exactly who my dad was), I often do searches on google for my dad, or keywords like VMFA-235, 333, Death Angels, Shamrocks, etc. I actually found this forum when the picture of your dad popped up on Google images. The man in the photo bears a striking resemblance to my own dad so I immediately clicked on it. I recognized the name "Mike Loomis" immediately. Hope to get in touch with you and Killerbee.
