  1. I copied the whole 'A' model data.ini file into the 'B' model. The problem went away but the rear pilot went missing. I tried everything to restore the rear pilot and seat but nothing worked. So all in all the problem is located somewhere in the data.ini file.
  2. Thanks. Where do I get the bombing range map?
  3. Just tried it and it didn't work. Copying entries for the 'A' model had no effect on the 'B' model's rudder issue.
  4. I figured that but looking at the entries they seem to be exactly the same. I don't believe these two birds are longer than each other so I'll give it a try.
  5. How does one solve an issue where rudder control surfaces on the vertical stabilizers are stuck inward? The F/A-18A doesn't have this problem so I have a reference to look in a section in an .ini somewhere and find out what's amiss. All other control surfaces are fine. Thanks in advance for help with this.
  6. Once I pick a plane to fly I see there's a default squadron that comes up all the time. Is there a way to change that? There's no rhyme or reason for it as some defaults are down the list and others are not. It's usually never the first one so there must be a setting somewhere. As always thanks in advance.
  7. Just to let you know this broke my plane's ability to auto-deploy flaps coming in for approach. When the flaps don't deploy you have to come in at a higher rate of speed to avoid high AOA which doesn't quite work for carrier traps. Eric's mod above actually did the trick. I used yours at first and thought I had another issue with the plane until I went back and tried Eric's mod above. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated. Eric, there is no 'weapondata.ini' file in the WoX version of the F/A-18E/F's I have.
  8. I actually hate to bother you about anything else seeing the great work you've done already. SF2: NA is getting addicting to say the least.
  9. One last thing. The way SF2 does plane numbering I see it's best to have the squadron numbers present on the birds for each of the A/B models. It's weird looking over at my wingman and he has the same nose number as my aircraft. How do I add more plane numbers to the VAQ-34 squadron? I guess it's best to go from 01 to 06 for each model so when I fly them my wingman has a different plane than mine.
  10. Your mis-understanding me here. The SF2 version (BlkII) I have is working just fine thanks to your help. The only problem is upon landing the main flaps aren't adjusting once the gear is lowered meaning I need a faster approach speed to the deck. I know the Block E/F are supposed to have auto flaps but they aren't working on approach. Another thing is it's a performance hog both it's ability to carry a load and have the desired thrust and maneuverability (this is without fuel tanks and set for AA) and in sim performance graphically compared to the WoX version. I meant getting the drop tanks visible on the WoX version.
  11. Great site. I was wondering where those birds were myself. Either way birds came in and out the squadron when I was there. I remember '01' because that's the one I flew in. I was there back in 1992-93 so exact number for aircraft is a little foggy now. When I was there I didn't appreciate the significance of this squadron. I wanted to be in an F-14 squadron down at Miramar.
  12. First female 'Fighter' pilots (don't quote me on this, all I know is they were the only one's I knew of when I was at NAS Lemoore). 01 was on the two seater. 02-06 were on the single seaters.
  13. Yea, we had women fighter pilots before the other fleet squadrons had them, kind of historic I guess. I knew the women pictured in front of the F/A-18's for this squadron in some of the pics you'll find around the web. Again great job. Will you still be able to do VFA-94 for the F/A-18C?
  14. Looks amazing... Thanks. Never thought I'd see my old squadron virtually like this. Great job. That was the plane I flew back seat in. If you don't mind put '01' on that bird, you can find pictures of it online. That was the one I flew in. The single seater would be 02. Sorry I forgot to mention the numbering.
  15. Wish I could figure out how to get those drop tanks to show up in the sim.
  16. That's interesting because your new VFA-94 paint works perfectly with it. The only anomaly I see is the canopy texture on one side but that's only with your new paint. All weapons work without issue, it totally works flawlessly. It was the 3.2 version that I saw an issue in which the forward slates would not fully go up (thanks for the help on this) and the performance hit in the sim is noticeable. We can't be talking about the same version? The file name is 'FA_18EWoX.7z'... There's an E/F version that looks to be a slightly older version than v3.2. Like I said your new paint works with it.
  17. Eric are two seater 'A' models available? We had single and two seaters.
  18. Eric, I have a version of the Super Hornet who's file name is 'FA_18EWoX'. I swear these things fly more realistic than version 3.2 (BlkII). I flew back seat in the 'A' model and when you turned that thing it moved even with a load of mock weapons and fuel tanks. Granted it wasn't the 'E/F' model but I can't imagine the new birds being under powered and sluggish. Getting off the deck with after burner and a full load is a struggle for the 'BlkII' model. The WOX model's fuel tanks don't show just like what I originally saw with 'BlkII' model (same model it seems minus a few things). The 'Tanks480' folder that came with the 'BlkII' file is not compatible with the 'WoX' bird and the 'Tank482' folder that came in the 'WoX' file doesn't work. If you have any suggestions concerning why the tanks don't show up on the WOX model please let me know. The 'BlkII' model seems harder on framerates and it's handling is too heavy when loaded with weapons. Yes there's some degridation in performance with a load but not that much. Turning shouldn't loose as much speed as seen in the 'BlkII' version and the engines seem underpowered. I know logic suggests these birds should be sluggish with a load and that may be true to some extent but the 'BlkII' model over did it. Again I only flew in the 'A' model and the 'C' simulator but I thought I'd let you guys know from someone who's flew in a real F/A-18. For the record the virtual A/B/C/D models seem fine in SF2 NA.
