This skin represents the Fokker DVII of Ltn Alfred Fleischer of Jasta 17
The freaky looking face on the cowl is actually from another Fokker DVII in Jasta 17, of which no other information is available besides an unatributed photo of the front of the machine. I added the face it to Fleischer's better-known scheme. Hope he doesn't mind....

Jagdgeschwader Nr.1 Rittmeister Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen's Albatros D.V 2059/17, circa August 1917. This skin features "washed" national fuselage insignia, green/mauve camouflage on wings, varying shades of red from overlapped coats of paint (visible in photographs, historians theorize the nose and tail were initially painted red before the rest of the fuselage was "filled in" with a thinner, translucent coat), Garuda propeller, wooden wing roots, square fuselage footstep, and port wing footstep.
