My second mission and the very first Dutch mission ever to be uploaded (unless I missed something), a fictional mission that will allow you to practice the actual divebombing technique used bt the ML-KNIL's Brewsters against the Japanese invasion convoys off Balikpapan and Java in January and March 1942.

    18. Spitfire F. Mk.XVIII NH850

      Serial : NH850
      Markings : Z

      "60 Squadron"

      Spitfire XVIII, NH850

This skin is for the above mentioned aircraft and though we don't have a MKXVIII Spitfire in the game I have chosen to use the MKIXe as a stand in. The real plane (having a Griffon engine) has distinctive raised elongated bulges just above the overhead valves which I have tried to fake onto the actual skin.
I have made three versions - Marked, Roundels only and No marks. For most accuracy (in relation to the real plane) using this skin on the full winged MKIXe varients would work best. (The No marks version will be the only one that will fit the clipped wing versions due to roundel placements on the underside of the wings).

This skin will also fit the IXc and no doubt Vb version but the machine gun placement will be different on the IXc and props/machine guns/radiators will differ on the Vb but it WILL fit regardless.

Original superb Spitfire MKVb template created by "Fly by Shooter" now with various adaptions by me to fit the MKIX with panel lines etc. depicting the Griffon range of Spits. (Ty FBS)

      History included in the download.

    19. Spitfire MK.XVI TB752

      Spitfire MK.XVI TB752
      Serial : TB752
      Markings : KH-Z

This skin is for the above mentioned aircraft and though we don't have a MKXVI Spitfire in the game I have chosen to use the MKIX as a stand in.
I have made two versions - Clipped wing and Full winged, for most accuracy (in relation to the real plane) using this skin on the clipped wing MKIXc would be best but I have included a full winged version so that it may fit the full winged IXc and also the 25lbs Spitfire (if you so desire).

This skin will also fit the IXe and no doubt Vb version (use the clipped and non clipped where appropriate) but the machine gun placement will be different on the IXe and props/machine guns/radiators will differ on the Vb but it WILL fit regardless.

Original superb Spitfire MKVb template created by "Fly by Shooter" now with various adaptions by me to fit the MKIX with panel lines etc.

      Roundels Only versions included.

Extensive history also included in the download.

(small error in the read me says 41 Squadron - should be 66 Squadron)

P.S. for any MKIX skinners out there - extremely handy how the plane has a black fuzz band where the warping usually is lol

    24. Seafire F MkIII 807 Sqn HMS Hunter June 1945

Seafire F MkIII D-5X/PP479 flown by Sub-Lt F Logie of 807 Sqn FAA from HMS Hunter in June 1945.
PP479 was issued to 807 Sqn in Sept 1944, but in June 1945, while being flown by Logie a light cross wind lifted the Seafire while about to touch down over all the arrester wires and into the crash barrier, ripping off all three sections of undercart.
PP479 was dismantled and stored below decks until 'Hunter' reached Trincomlee, Ceylon, were it was classed as beyond repair and scrapped.

Three skins included, D-5X, one with FAA rounds only and one with tail flash.

Thx to Jester for the template, with bits from FBS and TonyT
