    1. For game version 4.70+

      6 Semi-Historical co-op missions for up to 24 players.

These missions are loosely based on the AARs that I could find, or they are linked to the ground action which is far better documented.

      Players fly Ki27's, I153's and I16's.

All missions should be complete within about 30 minutes.

There are Escort, Intercept and Ground attack missions designed to be played in sequential order to create a kind of mini campaign.

Special thanks to NHawk for his brilliant map template upon which this is based.

I originally designed these missions for the 102nd co-op server. You can find and play them there by typing DSC MAP 01 after joining.

    2. 5 Historical co-ops for upto 24 players, that recreate the frantic Bi-plane actions between the RAF and the Regia Aeronautica around Halfya pass on the Libya/Egyptian border in 1940.

Forget everything you ever learned about instrument flying, energy manoeuvres and boom and zoom. Strap yourself into the open cockpit of an antiquated biplane and soar into the North African sky's !.

These missions are exact replicas of actual AAR's in so far as the mechanics of this game will allow. I have picked the most equal encounters and overall I think there is a fair balance (over all five missions).

The eventual arrival of Hurricane 1's compensates for initial Italian numerical superiority.

These missions were designed for the 102nd automatic server so most are air starts, with engagement within 5 minutes. All should be complete including landing within 30 minutes.

(To play this mini-campaign online on this server, go to 102 Coop dedicated via Hyperlobby, Join. Type DSC MAP 02 in chat and send to all and it will bring up these co-op missions. You do not need to download this to play in this way but if you do, all planes that you see will have the correct skins .)

To enhance enjoyment of flying Italian campaigns and missions, I recommend installing Gastons excellent campaign pack, which includes a campaign folder, Italian ranks and medals and a speech pack:-

also included in the Dgen Upgrade:-

    3. THE BATTLE OF MALTA 1940-1942 (IT) 1.0

      for Il2/AEP/Pf 4.03m+

A 62 mission Scripted fighter Campaign for an Italian fighter pilot based in Sicily.

This campaign is based on a lot of historical research, no real pilot would have had the opportunity to experience
all that is contained although I have constructed what I hope is a believable fiction.

Almost all the missions within this campaign are directly based upon real missions.

The variety and type of missions are varied but the focus is upon escort type missions and their evolution throughout
the period covered. There are also patrols, fighter sweeps, ground attacks, interceptions and a variety of 'specials' as the Regia Aeronautica struggle to win air superiority and prevent convoys and supplies from getting to Malta.

Convoys are central to this whole campaign so ships of all types and their attack and defence feature very heavily
      throughout.

Player fly's the Fiat Cr42 'Falco', MC200 'Saetta', Fiat G50 and MC202 'Folgore'.
(and very briefly a bf109, He111 and an MC205 'Veltro' in a final 'epilogue' mission in 43.)

      i) This campaign requires the Italian campaign folder and Italian speech pack. (included in the 'DGEN latest updates !' underneath this in the campaigns section of CombatAce website:-

      OR
in 'the Italian campaign pack' available at Ubi Pacific fighters under user campaigns,
many thanks to Gaston and everyone else involved.

ii) This campaign was constructed using the excellent il2 MATmanager and it is recommended that people install this
utility in order to be able to choose accurate plane markings.
(the campaign should still work without it but will not look as good as intended.)

Thanks to all the skinners that created the skins contained within, I have tried my best to agnowledge their excellent
      work. (see read me).

Unzip to your desktop and look at the enclosed Read Me(IT)

Hopefully there should be an Italian language version of this campaign to follow soon.

1.1 corrects some spelling and typos in the briefs.

    5. Skin Pack of Boston MkIII's (A20C) flown by No88 Sqn RAF as part of Operation Starkey.
The aircraft were standard RAF/USAAF colours (Dark RAF Green in this case) with black and white bars extending from roughly the centre of the wing to its tips.
The white nose weas added to twin engined aircraft ony to aid identification.

Six skins included, RH-E/F/R/S, one with RAF Rounds and one with RAF tail bars only.

Thx go again to Imme, Monguse and Starchilde for the templates that I have mixed and matched.

    6. Full History of each plane included in the read me files in the download.

      Spitfire TD248

This skin is for the above mentioned aircraft and though we don't have a MKXVI Spitfire in the game the real plane closely resembles the MKIX that we do have access to so this is what I chose to use.
I finished this a while ago and something about it was really annoying to me - the real plane has a bubble canopy (which we don't have access to in the game) so after a week or so I decided to see if I could make the skin "look" like it has a bubble canopy - it turned out reasonably well so I'm now happy to share it.

This skin has been built to be used for the Mk.IX varients - it should fit them all except for the clipped wings as the lower wing roundels will get cut in half if you use it on them.
Sub note: this skin may also fit the MKVb varients (not Vc) with little difference so you may as well try it in those folders as well.

This skin was built using Fly By Shooters awesome MKVb template which I have adapted to fit the MKIX and added a few bits and bobs of my own.

      Spitfire RN201

This skin is for the above mentioned aircraft and though we don't have a MKXIVe Spitfire in the game the real plane closely resembles the MKVIII (CW version) that we do have access to so this is what I chose to use. The only real difference in how it looks physically is that the real plane has a 5 bladed prop whereas we only have the use of 4 and also the real plane (having a Griffon engine) has distinctive raised elongated bulges just above the overhead valves which I have tried to fake onto the actual skin.

Stick this in your "SpitfireMkVIIICLP" skin folder and you are ready to go - note that it will more than likely fit the standard MKVIII as well so you may as well put it in that folder too. No Markings version included.

Template created by "Fly By Shooter" with elements from "Jesters Ink" and Myself.

Note to any skinners that have ever skinned a MK.IX - think for a second how much frustration I went through to get that red line along the fuselage of the TD248 skin lol.
    7. Serial #: MV293 & Mv268
      Model: FR Mk. XIV
      Status: Airworthy

These skins are for the above mentioned aircrafts and though we don't have a MKXIV Spitfire in the game the real plane closely resembles the MKVIII (CW version) that we do have access to so this is what I chose to use. The only real difference in how it looks physically is that the real plane (having a Griffon engine) has distinctive raised elongated bulges just above the overhead valves which I have tried to fake onto the actual skin. The real plane also has a bubble canopy which I have also tried to fake onto the skin - it's not perfect as it's just not possible but from the right angle it works well enough.

Stick these in your "SpitfireMkVIIICLP" skin folder and you are ready to go - note that they will more than likely fit the standard MKVIII as well so you may as well put it in that folder too.

Display versions and weathered versions included.

Template created by "Fly By Shooter" with elements from "Jesters Ink" and Myself.
