About This File

The Grumman F9F Panther was the first truly successful jet fighter to enter US Navy service. It formed the backbone of carrier air wings from the late 1940s to the mid 1950s.

WARNINGS !!! If you plan to use this aircraft in games patched up to Okt2008 version...

Delete the F9F-5P.SHD file. Then edit the shadow entry in the F9F-5.ini file as follows :
 

[shadow]
CastShadow=TRUE
ShadowLOD=F9F-5P.SHD <--------------------Remove this entry
ShadowType=1 <------------------------------------Remove this entry
ShadowCastDist=10000
MaxVisibleDistance=400

This will protect you from the appearance of graphic artifacts on the airplane nose :))
