Hello all!  Does anyone know how to superimpose a texture onto the moving map (say a compass tga)?  I've been trying for days and nothing seems to work!

Thankyou in advance!

Yakarov, I've tried what you've said I've placed (and linked) the tga on top of the map node (superimposed) and although all seems great in Mues LOD viewer ..

In-game it looks like this:  It's like the transparency of the tga is ignored ..

Any idea what it is I'm doing wrong?

Set transparency (material of superimposed node) in 3D Max to 0% (?)  (I do not remember the parameters of that material - I can check on Saturday - soonest)

and then play with the transparency of your texture tga in your photoshop/gimp...
