hi guys, this is my first post, and forgive me if what i'm asking is obvious or it's been answered somewhere. I searched the forum but i haven't found what i'm looking for (yes I like U2  )

I have a fresh installation of SF and when i patch to SP3 it crashes. I can play, but when i try to exit the mission the pc freezes and I have to reboot. the strange thing is that SP1 and SP2 worked very well, but i can't undestand why SP3 doesn't. Any help will be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Your display driver is most likely the culprit. First, make sure that you have DirectX 9.0C installed, and then make sure that your display driver is compatble with it (DX9.0C).

Thanks a lot man. I installed directx 9.0c and the new nvidia drivers and now all works just fine (and even a little faster I think, perhaps the new video drivers). Thanks again.
