Mig 17 PFU

I?ve got the Mig 17 PFU working ? Soviet Silver, missiles, drop tanks. But can?t get the radar nose. I can get a nose that looks like a missile head. I guess it must be the MIG-17PFU Bitmap Image. In the ?read me? file it said it should go in the objects folder. I also tried to use that file to replace the Mig-17_body bitmap but it would not take. What am I doing wrong.

 

Installation instructions:

 

Unzip all files to

..Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft folder

(A new folder MiG-17PFU will be created).

 

 

Make copy of weapondata.dat weapondata.ini

files in ..Strike Fighters/Objects folder

(if present)!

Unzip files from Objects.zip into

..Strike Fighters/Objects folder.

It will overwrite weapondata.dat weapondata.ini

files if present.

 

Copy all files from

..Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft/MiG-17F/SovietSilver1 folder

 

Copy A-4B_Hangar.bmp from

..Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft/A-4B/ to

..Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft/MiG-17PFU

Have you opened the weps editor clicked on the entries you just added, closed and saved just to be safe?

Yes, thanks that is my next move. I think the 17PFU radar nose is not in the weps folder properly.
