jtin Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 With all the new tankers coming out (KA-6D, KC-130F), I was wondering if it is possible to make a mission with aerial refeuling. I know that the KC-130 comes with a refueling misson, but I am wondering if there is a way to have two aircraft rendezvouing (player + tanker) and have the player guide the stick thing on the plane (I have no idea what its called) into the basket. not neccisarily gaining fuel, but looking like it is. Any replies appreciated :) ! Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 You can't do that now? I made that mission and I have no idea what it is that you want to do. Quote

I was wondering if the tanker+player could start in the air one right behind the other (the player chasing the tanker). Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Sure that can be done. In mine the tanker takes off as you are taxiiing out. Locate him on radar and join up. Two mins to make what you want. Quote

Sorry, I didn't realize that your mission was like that, now you can tell how smart I am! Anyways, I experimented with the mission editor and got what I want. Thanks! :) Quote
fireengineer Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 It would be good tho if you could get fuel. Some of the older attack and fighter planes relied on this to perform most of their missions. But this i think is the biggest drawback ot these two games, the flight planning section is next to useless, it should tell you how much fuel is required for the flightplan and allow altitude adjustment. Really if I could change just 1 thing it would be this. Quote
