What determines which aircraft the Mission Editor will allow the player to choose when they select Loadout?

 

Specifically, in my own carrier landing training mission, I can choose MiGs but not an A6A.

Do you mean that you cannot select the A6A's loadout ?

 

If so, verify that you have the file A6A_LOADOUT.INI in you A6A folder.

I can choose them in KMD, of course, but this is in reference to my options as a player. The mission is written for an A4E. Once up and running, if I try to choose another airpane to practice landings with, I cannot choose them all and I cannot choose all the Navy birds. It is a strange menu of aircraft. In my case, I can choose the F8's and F4's but not A7's or A6's.

Note that the F4, F8 are Fighters, while the A6 and A7 are attack planes

 

Maybe the type of mission (example Intercept mission, only the planes declared for that), type of formation?
