Mark5388196 Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I would like to know which of the many B-52s I should get, many look nice, but I would like an opinion on which is the best. Also, I havet used the new weps pack by bunyap and i was wondering if there are ballute-retarded weapons on it. Also, since I only use WoV when at my grandparents house, when I install the bomb range terrain, how do i get on there so I can go bomb somethin? Thanks in advance for answering these really noob questions. Mark P.S. I read the Stickie and i will be getting those planes thx. Quote
Wood Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 (edited) regarding the bomb terrain, it will be installed to a different folder than the VietnamSEA terrain. weather you fly on the the bombing range or vietnam depends on the mission. in missions built for the bombing terrain you'll fly in the bombing terrain. The weapons pack is really good , you should get it. Edited May 27, 2006 by Wood Quote
Mark5388196 Posted May 27, 2006 Author Posted May 27, 2006 (edited) What mission would I fly that has the bombing terrain. I am thinking about flying a B-52 full of balute-retarded bombs and blasting targets on that terrain. Does it come wiht a mission or do I need to get one? Thanks Mark P.S. ANother question, what do I chose for flares and chaff, does it take the spot of a bomb? If so which weapon do you choose? Thank you again for answering my seemingly stupid questions. +Spectre_USA Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 (edited) The Bombing range, found on this site, does go into a different folder than the SEA terrain. I use it whenever a new airframe comes out to get a feel for it, and the characteristics when moving mud. Once installed per the readme, it will be an option in creating a single mission. You can fly any old aircraft, be it included, or an add-on, that shows up in the drop-down. As for chaff and flares, no, they do not take up a weapons slot on most. On the Tornado they have externally loaded pods that do take up slots. Most more modern jets have the ALE-40, or the like, which is integrated into the airframe. I've loaded hundreds of the canisters in real life on the A-10 and upgraded F-111F's. EDIT4-Typos Edited May 27, 2006 by Spectre_USA Quote
