Mod probs

Hey guys,

 

I got WOV all patched up and installed the new weapons pack. But I get an error with d3dx9.dll can't be found variety. Any ideas? I'm dyin' here!

Update/reinstall DirectX 9.0c

Just re d/l'd Directx and got all frsh updates... but get this, I get a CTD in the menu screen

Here's the skinny,

 

I loaded MS Directx update, which then crashed my computer and sent it into an endless re-booting loop. I'm about to send it to the manufact. via UPS to get it repaired. Man, not happy about that. I can't seem to get valuble data burned on to a cd or anything. The computer just will not work. I'm afriad that if I run recovery, then everything is lost and I might be in a worse position. This is just not good, but thank god that I have my old desktop to use in the meantime. I think I'll head to Bestbuy first to see if they can help me, but I doubt it. Wish me luck....
