zagnut Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Per the Directx .30.dll file, just download and paste to the windows main directory, that seems to fix the dll issue. Although that fixes the dll issue, my X-45 seems to have a lag time in terms of response from stick and thorttle movement to translating on the game. Everything is fresh, updated etc... Any ideas?
zagnut Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 More crap on the horizon... Does anyone know how to fix this? AppName: woe.exe AppVer: 7.10.6.2 ModName: terrainengine.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000019a2 That's the error I get now after all the patching.
+Dave Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Explain your patching sequence so we can get to the bottom of this. I think something was done out of order.
zagnut Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 I did the patches in order of the earlier dates to latest date. From install, to [2744]WOE_p052506a.exe ,to WOE_p071006.exe. Am I out of order, or was there something I missed?
zagnut Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 ok, cool. I guess i missed it. I'll let you know what happens- thanks!
+Dave Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 So you were patching correctly. I would get the latest directx again instead of using just that .dll.
zagnut Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 Can't find the 15h may patch.. only the other 2 ok, yeah, sry... I have both patches, and did a clean install. Wow, the things you gotta do just for a flight sim these days lol
+Dave Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 clean install, add both patches, directx then it should work.
zagnut Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 Yup, I'm finally 5 by 5 now.... Thanks for the help. Just curious, does Bunyap's weapons pack need a specific dir or does it need to just install per what game the wizard requests?
