formation takeoffs WOV

for WOV: anybody know what file to tweak so that your wingman comes up on the runway rather than the taxiway behind you? I would love to do formation takeoffs as a default setting...

It doesn't appear to be possible to get the game to do formation take-offs. If you taxi ahead far enough your wing will start his take-off roll but thats not really a formation take-off. I made a mod that generates 'Quicker Take-Offs' by moving two aircraft onto the runway behind the player. If you want to try it you can download it Here. Regards.

I have seen a video of four aircraft taking off and landing in formation.

 

It was done by one of the guys from the Mirage Factory so it is possible but i don't think it is very easy to do.

 

If i can find it again i will link the post here so that you can see and read for yourself.

 

Here is the video but i was wrong it does not say anything about formations.

Took awhile on my slow dial up but saw enough. A formation take-off! Totally amazing and not a clue as to how it was done!
