Grizzly Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I am about a month or two into my campaign. I've already shot down 50+ migs, bombed X number of airbases, and it doesn't seem like we are doing anything offensively on the ground. It looks as if the Russians moved in more SAMs (which I am destroying). So what is the key to winning a campaign? About how long does it take (in terms of game months)?
csb Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I'm not sure what the actual goals are to winning a campaign. However, as you probably know you can set the length of a campaign. So: Short = 30 missions ; Normal = 60 missions ; Long = 120 missions These approx. lengths also vary a little bit depending on how you're going.
Grizzly Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 I didn't know that. Ironically, I won my first campaign today. It would feel more "dynamic" if the lines could shift.
+column5 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 The lines can definately shift. Something unusual must have been going on in that particular campaign.
