+streakeagle Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 http://hirevsims.com/01prod/prod01.htm A-10, F-15, F-16, and F-18 sticks and throttles. These sticks make Cougars look cheap ;) They even offer some sticks for helos and heavy aircraft. I hate to imagine the prices for these sticks. Quote
Sky Captain Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Yeah, I found that once by randomly looking around the intarnet. I almost died of a heartattack when I saw the sticks. That F-18 simulator looks hawt. Quote
+BUFF Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 they don't sell to the public though. Go over to Frugal's World & do a search & you'll find an awful lot of stuff on them ... Quote
+streakeagle Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 Yuck! What a mess. Sounds like this company is a rip-off anyway (at least for consumer-grade business). The joystick handles I can get... it was the throttles that were very interesting :) Quote
Guest 531_Ghost Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 After actually speaking to them (HIREVSIMS), they can keep them IMO. Quote
+streakeagle Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 (edited) I have found some industrial sources of real sticks. These companies make stuff like dual F-15 throttles and in one case, MiG-21 controls! I doubt they sell to joe consumer and I doubt I could afford their prices if they did, but I just might be sending out some emails. http://www.ultra-msi.com/products/special_...rols/index.html http://www.mason-electric.com/products/con...rips/mig-21.stm http://www.essexind.com/manufac_page4.htm Edited October 6, 2006 by streakeagle Quote
Sky Captain Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Oh. Mah. Gawsh. MUST HAVE THROTTLE. (Btw, the T45 grip [last link] looks like some crazy Sci-Fi phaser... SET PHASERS TO KILL!) Quote
+streakeagle Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 one email bounced. one other got a "sorry, we don't sell to individuals" another got no reply at all. Quote
