A fictitious zeppelin for target practice. You can attempt to fly it if you wish, but don't start on the ground. Click here to download this file I tried flying the Zeppelin, but the moment you get in the cockpit, you're already nosing to the ground and spinning. This was, in reality, a huge stable airship, so I shouldn't be getting those results when attempting to fly. Perhaps the Flight Model needs to be told that it has enormous invisible wings, and that might keep it from rolling. I also had a problem when I first tried using it, where I got multiple images of the aircraft superimposed on each other. I checked the folders, and you seemed to have an L63 folder containing a whole bunch of files, plus another L63 folder in there which contained the D Folder and two other files. I pulled all the files out of the second L63 folder and placed them in the main L63 folder, and deleted the second L63 folder. This cured the multiple images. I downloaded this file early this morning, so I'm assuming it was after your update. Providing we're in the same time zone, of course.
Bandy 3 Posted December 10, 2006 (edited) Love the Zeppelin! Thank you for this unexpected addition. Just a few constructive comments if I may though. I took one out the first time flying in at high speed from above, and experienced absolutely no defensive fire. I could be wrong (and my knowledge extends only to the Michael York Elkie Summers movie of the same name, ie: Zeppelin! ) but I think they had parabellum gunners up top. The explosion also generated very little debris, a bit disappointing, but I realize those types of things at that scale must be very difficult to mod. Just an observation I suppose... Also, would they have flown those massively expensive behemoths during the day, as in at least one of the missions included??? [EDIT: Oops, those missions are somebody else's download, sorry...] Edited December 10, 2006 by B Bandy RFC
