Fates, did you do the bullet holes with decals or paint?

I think it's time to change cases, was just looking at a Chieftec case over at www.tigerdirect.com here:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/sectors/chiefte...tec/xtreme2.asp

I've modded my Antec 500 full-tower about as much as I can, and the damn thing is soo big! I keep it under the desk, but then you don't get to see all the cool mods, so it's time for a new project.

I like this new case design. Lots of bays and room for two CD/DVD's and a Fanbus/LCD Panel.

I'll post some pictures of the old Silversides I. I have heavily modified it since then, and it is now Silversides II.

New additions are a change from RAID 0 to RAID 5. Using the same 73GB Cheetah drives. The drives are 10K RPM Ultra160 SCSI with 16MB of cache on each. The volume size dropped from 273GB to 205GB when I switched to RAID 5.

Other, more recent changes are a faster CDRW, and a switch from a DDS4 tape drive to a faster, larger capacity Ultrium2 tape drive. I also now have a GeForce 4 card in here.

Also, I have cut a window in the side of the case door, and added an etched plexiglas window and soft blue cold cathode lighting. Maybe I will change the etched window to a Biohazard symbol now.

This machine, Silversides III is still under construction.

Here is a few pics of the old machine. Enoy.

Hey Beer, looks like the party shack pal... :D Ill just bet your gonna say thats your girlfreind standin there...

Question...Those rudder pedals homemade? Looks like you can adjust them for length. The length adjustment have pegs or something to hold the peddals in place?

I have GOT to make my own pedals. The twist grip on my logitech wingman FF is cool but not realistis methinks. Anyone got any good plans?

The pedals are CH Products Pro Pedals USB, the wood rack I made to keep the pedals in place for Nascar and Flight Simming. The Loft is a great cave to dwell in!

Awfully quiet down here <_<

So, a few pics of my main system unit - unfortunately nothing that hasn't been done before (or better).

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/scott.e.donal...ue/B&B1.JPG

Yup, 3 Hard drives - 320Gb total!

Before anybody says anything - no, I'm not finished with tidying cables :)

Removed stock fan grills & replaced with transparent atomic ones

Anybody know a good cleaner for brushed black aluminium?

(It doesn't look anything like as bad in the metal - I think that the flash & image compression makes it look far worse)

swapped stock fans for blue LED ones.

Swapped stock power & HDD activity LEDs for blue & red

Before the Tt Volcano 12 it had an LED fan on the HSF as well.
