+Ruggbutt Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 (edited) Shadow from our squadron is in Queensland, as is his twin brother (they're Kiwis). He's building a new rig to run LOMAC and is just waiting on a few parts. I'll point him in your direction when he's ready to reinstall. Feel free to hop on our Ventrilo server and say hi. All the info you need is located here. Edited December 27, 2006 by ruggbutt Quote
dugite57 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I've just re-installed Lomac + FC. I've not gotten into it much since the original release of Lomac, but intend doing so. Steep learning curve means I need to concentrate on one type of plane and learn all it's system (due braindeadness). Give me a bit of time and I'd be glad to hook up for some online flying. BTW, what ever happened to the Virtual Australian Air Force (VAAF) - the site's dead, but that was a great place to find Aussie's for online flying of Lomac and IL2/PF etc. Quote
+SayethWhaaaa Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I'd heard they'd run afould of the regulation restricting the use of the RAAF insignias, badges (and whatnot). I know they'd received emails about it before. But, I could never get anyone to confirm that... Quote
GI_Jew Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 BTW, what ever happened to the Virtual Australian Air Force (VAAF) - the site's dead, but that was a great place to find Aussie's for online flying of Lomac and IL2/PF etc. vaaf.com has been offline for over 6 months now but most of the active pilots can be found at www.vaaf.net At the moment things are pretty quite due to real world committments (and the xmas break, etc) however this is going to be changing fairly soon as several of us are really keen to get back into the virtual skies. We're always keen to have new people join in so feel free to come for a fly with us (this isnt restricted to Australian pilots either). In LOMAC our preference is A2G coops flying a mix of A-10s and SU-25/SU-25T however its always nice to have fighter escorts as well. Quote
Kif Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 (edited) Yep as GI said we are still active and not only fly FC but a range of other sim's too. I have an ADSL2 connection if a host is needed for your sortie rcmacchipilot. I'm sure some of the guys would love to have a fly. cheers Edited January 28, 2007 by Kif Quote
