I know that the RAF used a version of the A310 as an inflight refueler (I know that thanks to PNT who used it in his strafing missions). Yankee Air Pirate has some really cool 707's sitting around the tarmac, and coming and going, in some of their missions; it lends a bit of life to the stock (boring) WOV airfields.
