Changing waypoints

Is there any way to change the waypoints in the planning map before flying a mission? Specifically, is there a way to (a) move a waypoint, (b) change the prescribed altitude at a waypoint, or © insert or delete a waypoint?

You can usually move most waypoints in the loading screen by selecting the map and using the curser to move the waypoints around. Objective and initial waypoints can't be moved that way.

 

You can edit the mission ini file directly, but a better option is either Kreelin's mission editor (KMD) available here at CA, or "Le Missioneur" available at Check6 (it has an English language option). With either of those two you can make any change you want to any mission (not just waypoints), or create your own. They are both effect, but I find Le Missioneur a bit more user friendly.

You can "delete" a waypoint in game by pressing "w" to go on to the next waypoint.
