catch Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Is there a way to align all (planes that have) gunsights with the line of fire ? Some are okay but others are way off. Thanks .....
Alexander51 Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 In the aircrafts data.ini file you can find the section on the guns: [internalGun1] SystemType=FIXED_GUN GunTypeName=7.92MM_SPANDAU_LMG08/15 InputName=FIRE_PRIMARY_GUN GunGroup=1 MuzzlePosition=-0.1568,0.8085,0.5659 LightPosition=-0.1568,0.8085,0.5659 AimAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 <--------------------------- MaxAmmo=500 EjectShells= EjectPosition=-0.17,-0.15,0.57 EjectVelocity=-1.25,0.0,-0.3 GunFireAnimationID=2 Zeroing those numbers out should make the tracers and sight picture overlay nicely. This seems to do the trick for most of the aeroplanes in-game.
+Gr.Viper Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 N.11 as far as I remember has gunsight which is rather difficult to use without Vector TrackIR... You have to pull your head up for sights to align
RAF_Peacemaker Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 MrCraig41 This is off topic a bit but I just wanted to thank You and Dread, as well as Python, for helping me get my online set up with the new patch for the dreaded ATI bug . LOL Thanks a ton Peace

So zeroing the aim angles will work for the F1, F2 and F3 cockpit views ?
