Maybe weight (fuel, remaining ordinance) could also play a factor in gear durability? I also wish the engine smoke didnt stay visible as much after you land. I dont see it before takeoff. S!

Guest Ranger332 Posted April 29, 2003 Posted April 29, 2003 Ive broken landing struts ----but ,it was very had lost the flaps,and ordenace first. Came in at 450 knots at a 50 degree bounced about 20ft losing ordenace ,second bounce lost flaps,third bounce lost nose gear (had nose pointed down) was in a IL-28 will show pic later.
