yes it is, but gold don't have the star fighter or the C-130.

Sure. Go ahead. Download it and install it. Check the readme to see if you need the Starfighter or Herc. There is a C-130J that you can add and maybe 2-3 Starfighters for download if you need them in the campaign.

ThirdWire released their Starfighter as an official addon for SF Gold - afaik it should be here on CA for download.
