jmoscola2012 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hi All, Every time when I land after a mission, the DR.1 won't ever come to a complete stop. It keeps going about 5mph and never comes to a complete stop. Is their a Data.ini setting for this? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advance, Joe

Thanks in advance, Joe Because in real life u have to turn off the engine. It comes to an complete stop then. S! RvH
+sinbad Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 JoeM423 I do not believe there is a control which shuts down the engine. Perhaps TK may add that in the next patch. Meanwhile we have to quit the mission before coming to a complete stop. sinbad
Bandy Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Has anyone else noticed that the DR1 also lists to the port side when sitting on its wheels? I think this has been the case ever since I installed Firecage's Hard FM... Not a big deal, but since it was a related topic: DR1 landing etc... I'll get a screen shot tonight to add to this post.
jmoscola2012 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 I was just PM'd, that hitting the minus sign as well may cause it to come to a complete stop. This should compensate for a seperate throttle control. Joe
+Tailspin Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 In real life, once you got below takeoff speed, you pulled the stick back using propwash to put downward pressure on the tailskid to help slow you down. I know, doesn't help with the game but interesting anyway.

jmoscola2012 Posted March 13, 2007 Author Posted March 13, 2007 I discovered how to fix it. Under the Wheels section, you have to increase the drag coeficient for the right and left wheels. You can find these sections in the DR1_Data.ini. I increased mine from .75 to .90 and now it comes to a complete stop. Best of luck, Joe
