Baron von Legs 0 Posted March 23, 2007 As Ive just been going through the WWICAMP1_DATA files I noticed that it contains lists of missions, in order for example; [AirUnit001] ;AircraftType=SPAD13??? AircraftType=Salmson2A Squadron=1AS ForceID=1 Nation=USAS DefaultTexture=USASCamo1 StartNumber=1 BaseArea=Toul Aerodrome RandomChance=100 BaseMoveChance=10 MaxAircraft=10 StartAircraft=10 MaxPilots=16 StartPilots=16 Experience=100 Morale=100 Supply=50 Intelligence=20 MissionChance[sWEEP]=0 MissionChance[CAP]=10 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=0 MissionChance[ESCORT]=0 MissionChance=60 MissionChance[CAS]=90 MissionChance[sEAD]=0 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=90 MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=0 MissionChance[RECON]=90 MissionChance[bALLOON_BUSTING]=0 MissionChance[bALLOON_DEFENSE]=0 UpgradeType=NEVER Supply[001].WeaponType=Bomb25lb Supply[001].Quantity=2880 It occurs to me that by adding more MissionChance[sTRIKE}= 100(?) then the campaigns woud be extended. Also, at the top of this file; [CampaignData] StartDate=09/12/1918 StartDateDeviation=0 EndDate=12/16/1918 StartTime=05:00 WeatherType=Random ForceWithInitiative=1 MaxMissions=20 NormalMissionRate=1 NormalMissionRateDeviation=0 OffensiveMissionRate=0.25 OffensiveMissionRateDeviation=0 CampaignEndWinScreen=wwiCampEnd.bmp CampaignEndLoseScreen=wwiCampEndKIA.bmp CampaignEndStallScreen=wwiCampEnd.bmp CampaignEndWinText=wwiCamp1End.txt CampaignEndLoseText=wwiCamp1End.txt CampaignEndStallText=wwiCamp1End.txt in the top three lines it says campaign start and finish. If you could modify this, could you also have it so that your flying an, for example, Fokker E.III against shorthorns in 1916, then DII's against N17's? If anyone knows how to do this I'd be grateful for the info. Otherwise, if no one else has done it im too scared of file editing to try it myself. Hows that for community help? Im my day.... etc etc. von Legs

+sinbad 27 Posted March 24, 2007 Firecage- If you have figured something out, please clue me in as well. It would seem that in order for the suggested mod to work, we would need to be certain the service dates for the individual A/C were set for the actual service dates (or at least service dates which coincide with the campaign dates). Some of the A/C no available have arbitrary service dates in the individual files. sinbad
Baron von Legs 0 Posted March 26, 2007 I got a load of editing info for all sorts, so see you in a few months when Ive done a new campaign with different damage modelling. I seem to spend more time here or in the files than actually playing the game! Any info always gratefully recieved. von Legs.
